Twenty civilians - thirteen men and seven women - paticipate in the course conducted by the Military Academy at Vyškov.
The Communication Strategies Department of the Czech MoD, in a close cooperation with the Military Academy at Vyškov, organise a ten-day SURVIVAL COURSE for Czech journalists, humanitarian workers and students.
The purpose of the Course is to help participants survive in dangerous areas during future assignments.
The Course was opened by Brigadier General František Maleninský, Director of the Training and Doctrines Directorate at Vyškov and by Colonel Milan Solík, Commander of the Military Academy at Vyškov.
The Course takes place at the Vyškov Garrison and adjacent Dědice Military Training Area.
At the conclusion of Survival Course 2006, the Ministry of Defence of the Czech Republic, Training and Doctrines Directorate, and the Military Academy will organise the "A Journalist and War" seminar on 23 May 2006 at Vyškov.
