Help participants survive in dangerous areas during future assignments


WHEN

14 – 23 May 2006


HOW

A ten-day course includes:

  • Training aimed at overcoming extreme mental and physical stress

  • Crossing natural and man-made obstacles (including cliffs, water flows and reservoirs)

  • Effects of short and long-term stress on mental health and pointers for their elimination

  • Information on weapons, ammunition types and their effects

  • Orientation in unknown terrain under complicated conditions

  • Movement in dangerous areas (both urban and open terrain)

  • Survival of the individual and groups in an unknown areas

  • Search for, improvisation and use of shelters

  • Mine awareness

  • Self-defence

  • First aid

    Evaluation and Lessons Learned

  • Meetings with soldiers who have personal knowledge from various Czech foreign deployments
  • to discuss mutual working relations between the media, humanitarian representatives and the military
