    On June 9, 2024, an opening ceremony launched the multinational CBRN defence exercise Coronat Mask 2024 in the Hradiště Military Training Area, Czech Republic. Designed to train 800 plus CBRN defence specialists from thirteen NATO nations, this field training exercise is unparalleled in scope in the modern Czech history.

    Minister of Defence of the Czech Republic Jana Černochová welcomed the Secretary of State of the United Stated of America Antony Blinken at the Prague-Kbely Air Force Base. Secretary Blinken thanked the Czech Republic for providing aid to Ukraine to repel the Russian attack. Secretary Blinken was also shown examples of armaments and equipment delivered to the country to fight Russian aggression.

    From fighters in the sky to radars on the ground. Almost a complete order of battle of air assets and ground equipment of the Czech Air Force was involved in exercise Ramstein Guard last week. In the context of the changing security environment, traditional training gains on importance again, this time with focus on combat with the opponent employing various system to disrupt communication and seeking to gain superiority in the electromagnetic spectrum. The new Israeli manufactured Mobile Air Defence Radar (MADR) was involved in the exercise for the first time.
