Exercise Sky Soldier II. Paratroopers seize Hradcany airfield

At the coordination exercise, Sky Soldier II, held from 26th–30th September at Ralsko-Hradcany area, Czech and American airborne troops carried out several air drops and, conducting “close air support”, “took back” the airfield, facilities and the adjacent area occupied by the “enemy”.

The meeting, held in the House of the Army in Prague on 22nd September, confirmed above-standard relations in defence attitudes between representatives of Czech Ministry of Defence and the U.S. Department of Defense.

Polish President honours Czech soldiers

German General visits the 4th Rapid Deployment Brigade

Lieutenant General Carsten Jacobson, Deputy Commander of the Bundeswehr Army, accepted an invitation to visit the troops and headquarters of the 4th Rapid Deployment Brigade in Zatec which, together with Major General Jan Gurnik, Commander of the Czech Land Forces, took place on 2nd September.
